1.    South Waziristan - Operation Rah-e-Nijat. In last 24 hours, 6 terrorists have been killed while 8 soldiers including 2 officers injured. Details of the operations are as follows:-

a. On Jandola – Sararogha Axis
(1) Security forces established link up short of Janata and point 1694.
(2) Sanitization was carried out at village Adire Mela and village Khazhankai. Huge quantity of Arms and Ammunitions including 12.7 mm gun recovered.
(3) Security forces carried out patrolling on route Jandola - Chagmalai - Siplatoi, during patrolling an IED exploded, resultantly 3 soldiers were injured including an officer.

b. On Shakai – Kaniguram Axis. Terrorists fired with small arms on security forces at Kidney Ridge near Kund Mela, resultantly 5 soldiers including an officer were injured and 6 terrorists were killed.

c. On Razmak- Makeen Axis
(1) Security forces carried out search operation at Lita Sar and village Blanki Sar and destroyed 8 bunkers.
(2) During search of village China large quantity of Arms and Ammunitions recovered.

2. Swat – Malakand – Operation Rah-e-Rast
a. Security forces conducted search operation at Kalam, Manglor and apprehended 4 suspects.
b. 4 suspects voluntarily surrendered themselves to security forces at Charbagh.

3. Relief Activities. 12,469 Cash Cards have issued to displaced families of Waziristan.
