Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi chaired the 44th meeting of the Board of Governors of Bahria University at BU Head Office Islamabad. A detailed briefing was given to the board on the advancement of various continuing projects, with special reference to growth and diversification in academic disciplines, infrastructure enhancement, budget and new initiatives of academic & nonacademic areas.
Pakistan Navy Ship NASR visited Djibouti and Sudan ports as part of Overseas Deployment to African region. Upon arrival at respective country’s port, the visiting PN Ship was extended warm welcome by Ambassadors of Pakistan, HE Mr Shozab Abbas at Djibouti and HE Mr Sarfraz Ahmed Khan Sipra at Sudan alongwith respective country’s Defence Attaché and host Naval officials.
The launching ceremony of 2nd ship of Type-054 Class Frigate constructed for Pakistan Navy, was held at Hudong Zhonghua Shipyard Shanghai, China.

Welding Ceremony of third ship of MILGEM class corvettes for Pakistan Navy held at Istanbul Naval Shipyard (INSY), Turkey. President of Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkey, H.E Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi graced the occasion and jointly kicked off the project by performing the block welding.
