Induction ceremony of state of the art Corvette, Pakistan Navy Ship TABUK was held at Pakistan Navy Dockyard, Karachi. Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
In continuation to Pakistan Navy efforts to provide standard health facilities along the coastal areas prominently under COVID-19 scenario, Pakistan Navy and Rotary International in collaboration with Sahil Welfare Association established a Free Hearing Health Screening Camp at Jinnah Naval Base (PNS DARMAAN JAH), Ormara. A qualified and dedicated team of doctors comprising ENT Specialist and Audiologist examined the patients through modern diagnostic equipment and extended free consultation.

Pakistan Navy assumed Command of Multinational Combined Task Force 151 (CTF-151) for the ninth time in a formal Change of Command ceremony held at HQ Combined Maritime Forces (CMF), Bahrain. Commodore Abdul Munib took over the Command from Rear Admiral (LH) Nejat Inanir of Turkish Navy.
Pakistan Navy celebrated 49th HANGOR Day to commemorate the historic event in which Pakistan Navy Submarine HANGOR sank Indian Navy Frigate KHURKI and crippled INS KIRPAN in 1971 war in a spectacular war action. In order to pay tribute, Pakistan Navy celebrates 9th December as HANGOR Day which is reminiscent of unmatched courage and unwavering commitment of Pakistan Navy’s Submarine HANGOR during 1971 war.
