General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) visited Headquarters Engineers Division, Rawalpindi today. COAS was briefed in detail regarding efforts carried out by Pak Army Urban Search and Rescue Team (US&RT) during Türkiye and Syria Earthquake.
On 26 February 23, a fire exchange took place between terrorists and own troops in general area Spinwam, North Waziristan District. Own troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location.
On the evening of 22 February 23, Terrorists had attempted to ambush a convoy of security forces in District Kech of Balochistan.While alert and combat ready troops not only foiled this cowardly attempt without any loss of life, they also immediately commenced a follow up operation to hunt down the fleeing Terrorists using ground and aviation assets.

Closing ceremony of Pakistan - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Joint Military Exercise “Al Kassah-IV” was held at Military College of Engineering Risalpur today. Troops from Royal Saudi Land Forces and Pakistan Army participated in the exercise.
Funeral prayer of former President of Pakistan, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) and Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Pervez Musharraf, was offered at Polo Ground Malir Cantt today. General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, CJCSC, senior serving / retired Army officers, relatives of deceased and a large number of civil / military officials and public attended the funeral.

Update Tanda Dam Kohat Rescue and relief operation of Pakistan Army is under way at Tanda Dam. Pakistan Army troops along with Rescue 1122 and civil administration working constantly day and night since 72 hours rescued 5 students alive from Tanda Dam while Pakistan Army engineers and divers of SSG recovered 51 deceased students and teachers from Tanda Dam.
